Sintered Diamond Balde

Sandblasting Process

The sandblasting process is a key factor in ensuring strong and reliable bonding between the diamond segment and its base. By removing surface oxidation layers and contaminants, and creating a fine roughness on the metal surface, sandblasting significantly enhances the bonding area—improving both adhesion strength and long-term stability during subsequent welding or brazing steps.

During this process, compressed air accelerates abrasive materials (such as quartz sand or alumina) to clean and texture the component surface. The machine shown is an enclosed sandblasting unit with a clear viewing window and glove ports, providing both operational safety and precise control.

Our factory is equipped with three sandblasting machines, ensuring stable and efficient pre-treatment for mass production. Though it is a preparatory step, sandblasting is crucial to the overall quality and durability of the final product.
